Innovid Partners with Tremor Media to Deliver Interactive Pre-Roll
Innovid today announced a partnership with Tremor Media to bring its interactive iRoll pre-roll technology to the Tremor network. iRoll essentially creates a microsite on top of a pre-roll ad, so that viewers can interact with the content, get more information, then return to the video when they're done.
The iRoll technology has existed for about a year now. For examples how what the interactive ads look like, check out Innovid's gallery page. This campaign for the Prince of Persia movie was one of the first created under the Tremor Media/Innovid partnership.
Developers can create their own iRoll campaigns using Innovid's authoring environment. All they need going in is a knowledge of Flash.
This announcement brings Innovid's iRoll ads to Tremor Media's network of more than 1,500 sites. The joint product offering will be marketed under the name vChoice iRoll. Clients can offer the ability to print coupons, view multiple videos, showcase a carousel of products, look up movie times, and use sharing tools with iRoll's interactivity.
"Tremor Media's unmatched reach and advanced targeting capabilities make them an ideal partner for introducing and providing Innovid capabilities to advertisers at scale," says Zvika Netter, Innovid's CEO. "Together, we will give advertisers the most immersive and engaging advertising experience possible."
