|
The submission deadline for Streaming Media West is June 30th. We typically receive ten times the number of speaking submissions we have available so we
strongly suggest you submit your proposal early, as they are reviewed and possibly confirmed upon receipt. Of the nearly 100 speaking positions we have, about
60 of them are reserved for you, the end-users, classified as those who purchase and deploy online video solutions and services and create video on the web.
Those willing to play an active role as panel Moderators, who want to participate in creating the contents of a panel,
should contact Dan Rayburn immediately.
In addition to round-table panels we also have stand alone "how to" presentations. End user experts who are willing to share your practical tips, tools, or
strategies for deploying online video, please consider volunteering to speak at Streaming Media West. We need presenters who can show people how to do
things step by step as a stand alone presenter.
All speakers receive a full, complimentary registration to the conference, a $995 value, plus great exposure in the industry -- so think over your latest success
stories or technology ventures -- and submit your proposal today! At this time, due to the large number of speakers, we are not able to pay any travel or lodging
related expenses.
Speaker Requirements For Online Video Platform Summit
There have never been more people publishing online video, and there have never been more online video platform solutions on the market. But with choices comes
confusion, and the new Online Video Platform Summit is a two-day event designed to help content publishers of all types—small and large, B2B and B2C, and especially
organizations for whom video is not their core business—make sense of this growing market and determine which solutions are right for them.
Held on November 2-3 in conjunction with Streaming Media West in Los Angeles, the Online Video Platform Summit is seeking speakers who can address the various options
offered by online video platforms as well as best practices for getting the most out of them. We are looking for speakers both from online video platform providers
and from organizations that are deploying those services. Topics might include (but aren't limited to):
- User experience
- Customization and branding
- Monetization
- Advertising platform integration
- Syndication
- The needs of B2B vs. B2C customers
- Integration with set-top boxes and mobile devices
- Metrics and analysis
- ROI
The Online Video Platform Summit will feature both individual speakers and panel discussions, so please specify what type of presentation you are proposing.
Please fill out the speaker submission form here, and contact event director Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, erics@streamingmedia.com,
if you have any questions.
