HEVC Advance Recognizes Technicolor's Participation
We thank Technicolor for their participation in helping to establish the HEVC Advance patent pool

HEVC Advance, an independent licensing administrator, would like to thank Technicolor for their effort over the past year as one of the companies that helped establish the HEVC Advance patent pool. They were a founding member and an important contributor.
Since their acquisition of Cisco's set-top box business and their recent changes in management, it appears that bilateral licensing would be a better fit for Technicolor's current business dynamics.
HEVC Advance agrees with Technicolor that the rapid and widespread adoption of HEVC is the best outcome for the industry, and looks forward to facilitating that adoption through the HEVC Advance patent pool. HEVC Advance remains the most effective and efficient means to acquire a license to a substantial portfolio of the most important and foundational HEVC essential patents.
The HEVC Advance patent list has been updated to remove the 12 Technicolor patents previously included. The updated HEVC Advance patent pool list which now includes 371 patents can be found at: http://hevcadvance.com/pdf/HEVCPatentList_02-03-16.pdf. The patent list will continue to expand rapidly as existing and newly issued patents complete the comprehensive evaluation process.
