Derek Gatts is VP, network ad products for WarnerMedia, leading ad product strategy and development for WarnerMedia News & Entertainment properties, including CNN and new offerings for advertisers on HBO Max with Ads. Prior to joining the company in April 2019, he was Global Head of Advertising Innovation and Operations for Bloomberg Media Group, overseeing ad product, operations, programmatic, media planning and client marketing across digital, linear, radio and print platforms. Before Bloomberg, he cut his teeth at Time Inc., spending nearly a decade across operational, ad product and strategy roles. Prior to his career in media, Derek worked as a professional actor in New York City performing in many classic musicals. He now resides in Bloomfield, NJ with his wife, three children and unreasonably large sneaker collection.
