As senior reporter, Sahil Patel currently leads Digiday’s coverage of the video industry, and produces the company's video and TV-related summits and conferences. Prior to Digiday, he was the editorial director of VideoInk and the editor of Cynopsis Digital. During his time as a reporter, Sahil has appeared as a guest speaker at multiple festivals and industry events including Cannes Lions, CES, the New York Television Festival, NATPE, VidCon, Social Media Week, and NPR’s “On the Media” program. Sahil holds a degree in Film Studies with a concentration on production and development from Vanderbilt University.
