Eugene drove a global transformation effort to pivot an internal focused software engineering organization to a full focus on Direct to-Consumer.

DisneyLife – the first of its kind, multi-content / multi-lingual SVOD product that provided access to all Disney theatrical, live broadcast, TV, music and games. He was instrumental in negotiating and delivering DisneyLiife’s complex partner integration. Much of this work sits as the backbone to Disney+.Oversaw engineering teams to expand offering to Connected TV – Samsung, LG, Roku –DisneyLife China, integrated e-commerce and ticketing / hotel reservations to Hong Kong Disneyland & Shanghai Disney Resorts. DisneyTheater – launched a SVOD offering with NTT Docomo in Japan under 120 days delivering and servicing > 1M+ subscribers. This will be the base platform for Disney+ launch in Japan in 2020. – ShopDisney & DisneyTickets – re-launched e-commerce portal across Europe supporting both Disney-owned and licensee stores & ticketing for Disney Theatrical. - AVOD platform delivering > 60M/month streams servicing all Disney / Pixar / Lucas brands globally – DisneyEnglish China –Built the technology platforms to power DisneyEnglish China, allowing Disney English to be the largest English language education service in China in 12 months.
