Yolanda Macías has over 25 years of entertainment distribution experience. As Chief Content Officer she is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, renewing and acquiring global content rights from independent producers and studios for all distribution streaming platforms. Macias also oversees third party digital streaming distribution of over 30,000 films and series across all world-wide platforms and consumption models. Macias supervises the relationships with the company’s distributed content providers, in addition to overseeing the marketing strategy and customer growth. Under her leadership, Macias secured home entertainment distribution and streaming rights for Crown Media’s Hallmark Channel, Konami, NFL, NHL and ZDF. Most recently her team secured channel streaming rights for Bob Ross and The Elvis Channel. She was honored as one of the Top 50 Women in Business by the Los Angeles Business Journal, one of the Elite Women 2009 - 2019 in the home entertainment industry and recognized as an industry digital driver 2010 – 2019. In 2016, Yolanda was selected as one of the Fabulous 50 Business Alumni from the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics/CSUN and was also recognized by the Imagen Awards in 2018 as one of the Powerful and Influential Latinos in Entertainment. Yolanda has served on the board of C5LA for several years and was selected as the 2019 Honoree. She is a member of Chief, a private network designed for senior women leaders to strengthen their leadership journey. Macías received her MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and her B.S. degree from California State University, Northridge.
