Daniel Sokolow was until recently the Multimedia Operations Coordinator for the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, a 15-hospital system covering Long Island and New York City. He was responsible for online delivery of media on the public facing and internal web portals, reaching both the public and nearly 50,000 internal users.

Daniel is among the few in the streaming media world to get there via Medieval History - he is a graduate of NYU's Department of History, and has served as the Corporate Archivist for McGraw-Hill and North Shore-LIJ. A passing conversation about the web in 1995 led to 15 years of progressive self-teaching and positions first in Intranet operations and online media management for the North Shore-LIJ Studios, NSLIJ's in-house photography, videography, and video teleconferencing department.
