Christian Egeler is Head of AR, VR, and 360 Product Development and Research for Envrmnt. He has been building and leading a large creative and cross-disciplinary engineering organization that is centered around innovation and excellence in the XR space. As a Product Strategist, he explores new strategic and emerging mobile product areas for Verizon. Christian is also a key contributor to the development of product road maps, business cases, proofs of concept, and commercial products around the integration of 5G, Mobile Edge Compute, Extended Reality (XR), AI, and Computer Vision technologies.

Before Envrmnt, Christian was the Advanced Concepts Development Manager for Verizon. While there, he led the Advanced Concepts team in the development of new intellectual property and concepts for innovative product introductions. These included extending a web-based OS platform for low-cost, smart-feature phones, smartwatches and other types of wearable devices, low-power display accessories, and more.

Christian received his Executive MBA, Business Administration and Management, from the Jack Welch Management Institute and his BS, Computer Science, from Purdue University.

Christian enjoys running for competitions and charity along with spending time with his family.
