Roach's career spans across network television news, regional television news, local news and Internet news. Currently he is the Executive Producer for Online Video for the Associated Press. He is responsible for AP video content on 1700 newspaper, radio station and TV station web sites as well as major newspapers and portals such as Yahoo! and AOL. He began his career at ABC News in New York, working his way up the ranks to Producer. He helped start up New England Cable News, one of the nation's first 24-hour regional news channels. He also worked as a News Director at WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio and Assistant News Director at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. He was a Regional Director for Internet Broadcasting, responsible for oversight of seventeen local TV web sites.
