John Oliverius is an attorney specializing in content licensing and distribution, with 12 years of experience in the television industry. John currently serves as Vice President, Distribution Counsel to A+E Networks, where he works with the Distribution group as its primary attorney for digital distribution transactions with U.S.-based MVPD and OTT distributors.

Prior to joining A+E, John served in various business & legal affairs positions at Viacom Media Networks, representing the Content, Distribution and Marketing Department, and at NBC Universal Television Distribution, specializing in television, film and web content licensing and syndication. John began his practice at Greenberg Traurig LLP, where he was an associate for four years in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice, primarily representing cable networks and broadcasters on transactional matters.

John received his law degree from Fordham University, where he was Editor in Chief of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned a scholarship to study Mandarin Chinese at Peking University in China.
