Philippe Stransky studied Computer Science at University of Geneva and was Assistant Teacher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in 1992-1994. He is author of publications on games theory and of numerous patents in the field of digital TV.

After running its own software development company during 10 years, Philippe joined NAGRA in 1996 as product manager for digital systems. He was a major contributor to the launch of large digital pay television operations, including Dish, in the USA.

Philippe Stransky is now Senior Vice-President and Chief Architect, overlooking product and solution architecture activities for all NAGRA products.
