Chief Problem Solver
090 Media
Mark has been involved with streaming media virtually since the birth of the technology in the late 90s. A video production professional since 1992, he first began producing live video webcasts in 1999 for ClickHear Productions in San Diego. ClickHear was soon bought by dot-com mainstay, CMGi, and became the streaming media arm of managed hosting provider, NaviSite. During his tenure with that company and through its transition to Streaming Media Corporation, Mark balanced his duties overseeing all of the firm's live webcast production efforts with his role as head of "Special Projects". It was this role that first tasked Mark with designing and integrating multi-million-dollar satellite downlink and encoding facilities, permanent "live cam" installations and various other streaming media-related projects both internally and for an esteemed clientele. Through the years, that customer base has included Activision/Blizzard, Adobe, Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Caterpillar, CBS Radio, Cisco, Clear Channel, Disney/ABC, Fox, Google, LG, Microsoft, MTV Networks, NASA, NBC/Universal, Red Bull, Sony, T-Mobile, Universal Music Group and Visa, to name a few. In 2007, Mark joined forces with webcasting startup, iStreamPlanet, and oversaw live event operations for the company until its acquisition by Turner Broadcasting in late 2015, when he spun off a new live streaming services firm called 090 Media. Mark is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America. |
