Xiaomei Liu is a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix working on large-scale video encoding services. Before Netflix, she was a distinguished member of technical staff in Verizon leading development of ThingSpace IOT location tracking microservice. Prior, she was a principal architect in Microsoft on cloud IPTV product. She also worked as software and system architect in Cisco specializing on video delivery product development and end-to-end system solution and architecture for cable video service providers. She received MSEE from Ohio State University and BSEE from Tshinghua University.
