Jian Lou oversees video algorithms and codec development for NETINT. Prior to joining the company, Jian was the Senior Director of Video Technology at Tencent Cloud, Director of Video Cloud at Alibaba Cloud, Chief Video Scientist at Agora.io, and a Video Architect at Apple. His research focus includes image/video processing, compression and optimization, hardware video design, video networking and real-time communication, and machine learning for video processing and encoding optimization. Jian received his B.S. and M.E. degrees from Zhejiang University and Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
