Cinemartin, the team producers of the leading Prores and HEVC H.265 standalone & plugin video converter 's among other cinematography tools and devices like the universal 15mm baseplate, now is proud to announce the new upgrade for its 4K portable video recorder-monitor-computer, NEXT, now featuring Windows 10 and support for ingesting video from GigaEthernet cameras, USB cameras as well as HDMI and SDI (6G-3G-HD) cameras.
NEXT, the complete media station produced by Cinemartin that can be used as a DIT, can record video at up to 4K at 4:4:4 uncompressed, allows to capture also at lower resolutions 1080p, 720p and SD PAL or NSTC, now features support for GigaEthernet cameras and USB 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 cameras like the ones from Point Grey, Vision Research, etc .., with dual Ethernet ports and 4x USB ports allowing for multiple cameras.

With SDI and HDMI input and outputs, supporting all the profesional cameras from major manufacturers including but not limited to Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, AJA, Blackmagic, Kinefinity from SLR to mid-size and bigger configurations, NEXT 4K now comes with Windows 10, allowing users to take benefit of the new O.S. from Redmont, Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, featuring a lot of great new features including but not limited to a new video media player, edge (new internet explorer chrome like) and new abilities for easily share and send the recorded files to a wider media & locations, by Wifi, Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet, etc ..
NEXT comes with integrated storage from 500GB to 1TB but users can add any external drive via one of its usb 3.0 ports, with SSD like the Samsung T1 being one of the most popular used for.
Next not only supports realtime Uncompressed, Motion-jpg or DPX at up to 12-bit video & audio capture, it also comes with a background trascoder for almost all variants of Prores and H.264, the new HEVC H.265 video codec and also features complete support for Adobe Premiere CC 2015, Adobe After Effects CC 2015 and other software. Next also supports streaming software.

NEXT 4K features a stunning 6.7" high brightness HD touch screen (500 NIT, more brightness than Galaxy Note 4 about the same as IPhone 6+), being the world first featuring a built-in computer running intel 64 Bit Core processor's, with a Partial Buffer - RAM of 16 GB or 24 GB and a integrated SSD of 500 GB or 1000 GB for about 3 grands. It fully supports Adobe Premiere CC 2015 as well as After Effects CC 2015 as well as a lot of other apps; for streaming, share, upload and send, backup, etc .. and it is really a fast machine, fully portable consuming only 29W (15W TDP), that can battery 12V std. be powered and run for 3 - 5 hours, or more with sleep mode activated.
