Delkin Intros CineZip Zipline 'Suspended Slider'

Slider suspends DSLRs and video cameras up to twelve pounds in weight from two seemingly endless cables, ideal for both short and long distance panning

Delkin Devices, Inc. introduces the CineZip™ as the first lightweight, portable alternative to track dolly systems for fluid video recording up to 50 feet in length. The slider suspends DSLRs and video cameras up to twelve pounds in weight from two seemingly endless cables, ideal for both short and long distance panning. Conquering environmental obstacles normally unachievable with large metal track systems, the CineZip™ utilizes industrial grade mounting components to attach onto virtually any two objects.

"Videographers will enjoy the ability to setup a professional, custom design in minutes, with no additional equipment or hardware needed," explains CEO Martin Wood. "The practical design requires minimal assembly before use and fits into a lightweight carrying bag for easy travel." Furthermore, users are given the option to carefully guide their camera down the zipline, or utilize a built-in pulley system to attain smooth, motion rich footage.

Already included in the kit, two Fat Gecko suction cup mounts (normally retailing for $89.99 individually) securely fasten the CineZip™ onto smooth solid surfaces such as windows, while a sturdy strap attachment can be used for rounded objects such as a tree. When filming on a motion picture set or other adaptable environment, cinematographers can also opt to screw an adapter plate directly into a wall.

Another added feature allows operators to maintain full control of their device while possessing the ability to rotate 360 degrees in order to obtain a wide panoramic image. Built-in joints and levels measure precise angles prior to shooting.

The CineZip™ Suspended Slider, along with Delkin's complete lineup of imaging accessories, can be found at digital photography and video stores worldwide, as well as directly through www.delkin.com for an attractive retail price of $349.99, beginning July 1st.
