AMP VISUAL TV, one of France’s leading providers of TV, broadcast facilities and solutions, has turned to Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, to upgrade its video switcher infrastructure to meet the demands of its growing client base. AMP VISUAL TV has purchased one 4 M/E Kayenne XL Video Production Center switcher panel and upgraded one 2 M/E Kayenne XL switcher panel to a 4 M/E Kayenne XL switcher panel to add greater scalability to its workflow and deliver more versatility to its customers.
AMP VISUAL TV supplies a variety of broadcast needs across France. The company builds and manages broadcast facilities including TV studios, OB vans and offers additional services including wireless and 2nd screen solutions. The Kayenne switchers will replace existing Grass Valley Kayak models that have been in place for several years.
“We were looking for the finest switcher on the market today to equip our studios and OB vans,” said François Valadoux, chief technology officer, AMP VISUAL TV. “Having worked with Grass Valley for several years, we were already familiar with and confident in the high-quality products and excellent service they provide, so choosing the Kayenne was easy. It has all of the key features we were looking for in a switcher, including scalability and low power consumption.
