Tutorial: Enhancing GoPro Footage With Photoshop's Camera Raw Plug-in
I'm a big fan of Camera Raw because of its simple time-saving features. In this tutorial, I'll demonstrate how to enhance some GoPro footage with color and lens-distortion issues.
Applying the Brush
To address this issue, I’ll choose the Brush option, and enable the minus (-) feature (Figure 14, below). This will remove areas from the graduated filter.

To apply the brush, hover over your Preview window, and you should see a Brush icon (Figure 15, below). You can press the left and right bracket keys to adjust the size of your brush. I'm going to make mine smaller by pressing the left bracket key. Now, by left-clicking and dragging the mouse, we can paint over the area that we don’t want included in our Graduated Filter.

Back to Photoshop
Once we’re happy with the look we can press OK in the lower-right corner to apply the changes, and our video will relaunch in Photoshop with our adjustments. You can turn on and off these adjustments in the Layers panel by selecting and deselecting the eyeball next to Smart Filters (Figure 16, below).

As you can see in Figure 17 (below), there's a big difference from where we started with our original video.

The final step is to export our video by navigating to File > Export > Render Video (Figure 18, below).

This will open the Export window, where you can choose destination and format settings for your video (Figure 19, below).

I really like the Camera Raw plug-in for quick edits to GoPro clips, or other videos that need some basic, or even advanced enhancements.
