Legends in the Making: NBA D-League Team Builds Mobile Production Trailer
Frisco, Texas-based NBA Development team the Texas Legends have created a custom-built mobile streaming and broadcast production trailer boasting its own 10x10 studio and featuring NewTek TriCaster for switching and streaming, a ProSonus mixer for audio mixing, and NewTek 3Play for instant replay, with 3 benches for production crew.
On-Board Studio and Virtual Sets
The last third of the trailer is designed to house a green screen that can leverage the virtual set technology in the Tricaster to provide a polished "larger than life" environment for on-screen talent.
Additionally, the back part of the trailer is designed to fold out on three sides, and then additional panels fold over so the entire back of the trailer becomes a stage that can be used for any number of game-day and audience setups.
In an era when reaching more people with interactive content, while continuing to serve traditional broadcast markets, leveraging the latest technology to deliver one event to different markets--and make each market's product unique, serves to maximize possible revenue for that event.
