A pioneer in the broadband advertising industry, Matthew Wasserlauf formed Broadband Enterprises in April, 2004 and serves as President and CEO. Broadband Enterprises is the first, full-service broadband company. For its clients, Broadband Enterprises will buy, produce and distribute advertiser’s programming across the growing broadband networks that capture over 50 million viewers today. Matthew’s career spans the media industry, commencing with a stint at Waring & LaRosa, Inc. From there, Matthew went onto a career in television advertising and programming sales with Petry Television and Warner Bros., helping to drive the syndication marketplace. In 1999, after completing an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Matthew joined CBS as its Director of Sales for its CBS.com division. There, he pioneered sales; selling websites including “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Survivor,” while generating over $10M in revenues. In 2000, Matthew joined The FeedRoom. As its VP of Sales, Matthew created millions in advertising revenue, climaxed by the first Broadband Upfront, laying the foundation for the broadband medium’s future growth. In late 2003, Matthew closed the first Broadband Upfront with Starcom Mediavest in late 2003, placing The FeedRoom alongside MSN and Yahoo! and capping a career that has run across advertising, television sales and ultimately, the internet and broadband.
