Leszek Izdebski, Managing Director of the Global Media Group, Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), the company's global business strategy consultancy, is responsible for driving Cisco's thought leadership around the future of media, identifying evolving industry trends and assisting Cisco's media clients in improving their business performance.

Leszek has worked directly for and consulted with leading media and telecom companies worldwide while working for Cisco IBSG, Accenture and Coopers & Lybrand. His work often involves developing their new products, product portfolios and media-distribution strategies. Leszek has pioneered numerous new media products that were "first of a kind" worldwide, helping to create new categories, media joint ventures and partnerships.

Previously, he produced short videos, interactive videos, and music CDs, and worked in academia. He also helped found and build several technology startups, and currently mentors media technology startups in the Bay Area.

Leszek has published research materials on interactive media, earning him industry recognition and awards. He has spoken at conferences and provided industry insights to various media outlets, ranging from industry publications to CNN.
