Mike Chop started WAVES (worldwide audio visual event services) at Cadence in 2009. WAVES portfolio of services grew from webcasting to include telepresence, virtual desktops, podcasting, and event services in a short period of time. Recent research lead him to consider how to incorporate rich media into Cadence's enterprise collaboration and social network strategies. Michael's primary office is based at Cadence Research Labs in Berkeley,California.
