Tom Vaughan is Vice President of Strategy at Beamr, the leading developer of commercial video encoder and image optimization software libraries.  In this role, Tom is responsible for developing strategic direction, working closely with leading video services and video solution providers to understand their business and technology requirements and strategies.  Tom joined Beamr in January 2018.

Before joining Beamr, Tom was Vice President and General Manager of the Video Business for MulticoreWare, where he initiated and led development of x265.  Prior to MulticoreWare, Tom was VP of Products at Corel.

Tom holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.B.A. from Drexel University.
