Tom Williams joined Schurz Communications as Vice President of Engineering and Technology in July 2017. Tom has responsibility over Engineering, IT, Technical Operations, and New Product deployment across all Schurz properties across the United States.

Tom has over 20 years of experience in a variety of senior management, marketing, and engineering roles with technology companies such as Comcast, ARRIS, Fujitsu, KPMG and Scientific-Atlanta.  Prior to joining Schurz Communications, Tom led Corporate Marketing and Business Development for ARRIS, designing and executing award-winning strategies that resulted in improved market share, advanced product offerings and increase in revenue. While at Comcast, he directed engineering operations and technology development for regional areas serving over 1.2M customers. He was the first in the Company, and often the industry, to accomplish integration and deployment of pioneering technologies including Video on Demand, High Definition, DVR and DOCSIS High Speed Internet.  Tom led teams at KPMG and Scientific-Atlanta responsible for the development, deployment and support of ground-breaking digital solutions. Tom is a frequent speaker at industry association conferences and an active member of SCTE, CTAM, and a variety of non-telecom associations and charities.

Prior to his career in telecommunications technology, Tom served eight years in the United States Marine Corps, leading Marines of various disciplines in countries around the world.
