Sangeeta Ramakrishnan is a Distinguished Engineer in the Chief Technology and Architecture Office at Cisco Systems. Her current focus is on applying Machine Learning technologies to enhance the delivery of various services over Cisco's product lines. Her areas of interest and expertise include HTTP Adaptive Streaming, encoder/transcoder technologies, video transport, mobile video optimization, analytics, and networking. She is a regular speaker and panelist at industry conferences such as NAB, IBC, NCTA, SCTE, and has also published several research papers at IEEE. Sangeeta holds 24 patents and has several more pending. She has also participated in and made major contributions towards the development of standards in the video and DOCSIS space. Sangeeta holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai.
