In my previous life as a Webcasting Pioneer, I began my digital media career in 1994 producing live webcasts from Austin, Texas. One of my first webcasts was Willie Nelson live from the Backyard for Mark Cuban at AudioNet. Over time our company ClickHear became the premier Live Webcasting company in the world producing webcasts for InterVU, Globix, Intel. Similarly we became experts at Internet Over Satellite and provided mobile IP over Sat solutions for the MP3.com Music and Technology Tour as well as the Yahoo Music Tour. In 2000 we sold the company to CMGi and invented and launched Stream OS which is now part of Akamai. Over the years I have been a consultant to large Internet ventures and in 2005 had the privilege to work for Kevin Wall, the Executive Producer of Live 8 as his Director of Streaming Operations.
