A business lawyer and seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations, M&A transactions and corporate finance, Ed Nordholm joined Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp in 2016 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In 2017 Anthem acquired a struggling sports franchise – TNA Impact Wrestling – which Nordholm helped turn around and rebuild into the world’s second-largest professional wrestling organization. Today, Nordholm serves as Chief Corporate Officer of Anthem Sports & Entertainment as well as President of Anthem’s Fight Media Group, whose centerpiece is Impact Wrestling. Prior to joining Anthem, Nordholm was a senior banking executive, most recently serving as President of Toronto-based Liberty Street Capital Corporation, a privately held merchant bank. Earlier, he provided legal advisory services to what was then called Anthem Media Group Inc. as it was in its initial growth phase with early acquisitions such as Fight Network. Before that, Nordholm was a Senior Vice President of Brookfield Asset Management, where he was co-lead on the firm’s first special situations fund. He joined Brookfield from the venerable Toronto-based global law firm Torys LLP, where he was a Partner. Nordholm holds an LLB from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.
