Robert Jameson is a technologist and leader who has spent 17+ years in the media industry. He started in the cable industry in 2005, developing cable VOD back-office systems and SCTE130 compliant advertising software, and served as the author of the SCTE130-9 standard. In 2012 he transitioned to Turner's digital ads team, where he oversaw the development and rollout of their live simulcast advertising solution and ran sports, including NBA, PGA, MLB, NCAA, NASCAR, and March Madness. In 2016, he became a Technical Director and took on additional responsibilities, led operations and support, redesigned the March Madness advertising solution (twice), and was an integral part of the re-architecture of the video tech stack. Robert left Warner Bros Discovery in December 2022 and is currently looking for new opportunities.
