Rob Collins is the Executive Director of Software Development for Starz. He has been with the company since 2016, when he helped launch the direct-to-consumer streaming service. He developed authentication, DRM and CDN management systems that continue to power Starz’s video on demand service. His responsibilities have continued to grow, and he currently manages technical teams responsible for ingest, packaging, encryption and distribution of video, both for direct-to-consumer and partner channels.
