Michael Frank’s main focus of work is the business of sports and sports in general. He understands the value of providing the most precise and current data available to attract an audience and keep them returning to consume additional content.
Michael began working in the media industry in New York City in 2004. He is a huge sports fan and enjoys analyzing, breaking down, and exploring the business side of sports properties, especially niche sports that are on the rise (any pickleball fans out there?). Before joining Omdia, Michael was a research manager for Endeavor (a talent, media, and sports agency) and conducted television research for FOX Sports for its national sports networks in the US. He has worked extensively in TV research and analysis on the national and local levels in the US for sports and entertainment properties. One of Michael’s greatest achievements was aiding in the creation of a new sports league for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR); he did crucial work to identify the franchise model that the PBR ultimately used to create their upstart Teams Series league in the western sports discipline of bull riding.
Michael attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he majored in communications and minored in information technology.
