Dallas Lawrence is the Chief Strategy Officer for Telly, the company revolutionizing the future of TV with the world's first free dual screen television supported entirely by advertising. A veteran of the connected TV and advertising landscape, he was previously head of communications for the Roku platform where he led strategic positioning for the Roku ad business, The Roku Channel, Roku Originals, Roku distribution and Roku’s public policy efforts. He previously served as the Chief Brand and Communications Officer for adtech leaders Samba TV, OpenX and Rubicon Project (now Magnite) where we also co-led investor relations for the public company. Prior to moving to the tech sector, Dallas served as the Global Chief Digital Strategist for WPP’s largest PR agency. During more than a decade in Washington, DC, Dallas served as a press secretary on Capitol Hill prior to joining President Bush’s communications team leading strategic outreach efforts for the President’s signature domestic policy initiative before deploying to Baghdad, Iraq on behalf of the White House to serve as a spokesperson for the Coalition. Upon returning, Dallas was appointed by the President to the staff of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld where he served as the Pentagon's Director of Public Liaison leading a global outreach team for both Rumsfeld and Secretary Gates.
