Eric oversees the technical direction of Deluxe’s digital group. Throughout his 14-year tenure at the company he has been at the forefront of technological implementation, with a focus on emerging technologies and production efficiencies. He has worked on solutions for formats ranging from Windows and Real Media in the early days of streaming through more advanced formats that today include 4K/UHD, IMF, HDR and HEVC. As Director of Data Operations for Deluxe’s Restoration group he oversaw mastering and archival functions, creating several DI validation workflows and extending the service as client demand grew. He has been a key driver in the realization of mature workflows involving creation, archive, and QC, and continues to develop with a mind towards process and quality improvement through innovation and consistency. Eric started his career in 2000 as an Encoder at Sonic Foundry. He is a SMPTE member and AMIA participant.
