As a native New Yorker, growing up my heroes were the Mets, Hans Solo, Spider-Man and Iron Man—mainly Iron Man because, well, the tech. Flash forward a couple of decades. That kid from Queens may be all grown up but his belief in the staying power of a great story is as strong as ever. 

I’m proud to have co-led the launch of ABC News VR, a first for network television news. A collaboration with World News and Nightline, the inaugural experience enabled viewers to step inside the Syrian city of Damascus where brave archeologists and conservators risk their lives to preserve antiquities from ISIS. To date, more than 100 immersive 360/VR experiences have been created.

Some of my favorite projects have been for entertainment news – streaming the first Live 360 broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest; collaborating with the producers of Good Morning America to stream GMA on Safari, the first Live 360 African Safari; and supporting The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60 VR anniversary special with ABC Entertainment and Disney Parks.
