Jackie Jones-Donaldson is currently the Founder and CEO of Velvet Hammer Consulting, a strategic consulting firm for technology companies, Private Equity and Venture Capital organizations.  Her firm has provided guidance  on acquisition & new market identification, process improvement, strategic resource allocation, growth engineering and business development. 

Previous to VHC, Jackie was VP Advertising Operations at Disney Streaming, a business unit of The Walt Disney Company’s Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) segment. Jackie joined the company in 2018 as VP of Partner Platform Solutions which managed strategic partnerships with Major League Baseball, Hulu, WWE, Sony, HBO, Verizon, and additional 3rd party clients and partners. Additionally, Jackie led the global media distribution strategy for Disney+, ensuring the service is delivered to consumers in the highest quality, using the best technology, as efficiently as possible. Prior to taking the position to run Advertising Operations, she was VP of Global Product Strategy, responsible for the Global Roadmap for Disney+.

Prior to joining Disney Streaming Services, Jackie spent 10 years at CenturyLink (Previously Level 3) where she held several leadership positions in the Content Markets Group focused on Sports and Media.

Prior to joining Level 3, she held positions at BT, Intelsat, FLAG Telecom, Bank of Montreal and Montreal Neurological Institute. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada and a Master of International Management degree from The American Graduate School (Thunderbird) in Arizona.
