Jason Hofmann joined Limelight Networks in 2009 and previously held key roles in Professional Services and Product Management for content delivery, video streaming, web acceleration, security, and DNS. As head of Architecture at Limelight Networks, Jason leads initiatives to constantly innovate and improve upon Limelight’s content delivery architecture. Previously, Jason was as a director at BMC Software by way of acquisition of Identify Software. He started his career at Accenture, in key software architecture and development roles for Accenture’s largest clients. Jason has innovated extensively in the field of web acceleration, and currently holds five US patents. In 2015 he was a founding member of the Streaming Video Alliance and has been a member of the Alliance’s Board of Directors since 2016. The Alliance plays an active role to publish and promote open standards, policies and best practices for the industry. Jason holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
