Liam Moran has supported video and audio production and streaming for over two decades at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Liam enjoys working on a wide range of streaming media problems, including accessibility related issues. He began delivering captioned educational video to students in 2005 over RealMedia, provided a solution for live captioning the campus' main commencement addresses since 2009, and deployed a Flash-based media player in 2010 that used html form controls and supported XML-based captions and audio descriptions that allowed full text search and navigation.
