Calling All Ad-Makers: Contest Searches for the Funniest Pre-Roll
Attention ad agencies or anyone else who makes video pre-roll ads: StreamingMedia.com's sister site OnlineVideo.net has launched a contest to find the funniest 15-second pre-roll created in the last year.
Any agency that can make viewers laugh out loud in only 15 seconds should enter. Ad-makers can upload a video or paste in a YouTube link.
The Funny 15 Contest
The 15-second pre-roll ad is here to stay, so OnlineVideo.net had decided to celebrate the great ones. While that site usually tells businesses of all sizes how to get their videos online and how to profit from their work, with this contest it's also celebrating great content.
Submissions will be accepted until November 2nd. OnlineVideo.net's editorial team will then sift through the entries and choose 15 finalists. That list of 15 funny pre-rolls will be announced at the Streaming Media West conference in Los Angeles on November 7th.
After that, the site's viewers will take over and vote on their favorites. Viewers can vote up to three times per day. The winner will be announced on November 28.
The prize for the funniest entry is an Apple iPad 2 ($499 value).
Those entering should include their agency name and contact info along with their submissions, so that OnlineVideo.net can deliver their prize if they win.
