Capture Customer Leads While Serving Live Video: Ustream Demand

Put those live streams to good use: Today, live video specialist Ustream unveiled Ustream Demand, a marketing platform for live and recorded video.

UstreamDemandThe service can handle libraries with tens of thousands of existing recorded videos, and gives marketers a way to filter, label, sort, and search through their videos so they can quickly find and organize the content they want. Marketers can add registration gates with up to 12 fields to any video, requiring viewers to type in a little information to see the content. Those leads can then be transferred to any CRM (customer relationship management) software.

For brands hosting live video events, Ustream Demand lets them add the same registration gates, and also turn that live video into recorded clips quickly to help keep people engaged. Ustream players can be embedded in any page—even on mobile devices—so marketers can capture information wherever viewers happen to be. The service will even send notifications to the brand's social media accounts, so customers know when their favorite brands are going live.

Ustream's site doesn't offer pricing for Ustream Demand, so you'll need to request a demo to learn more. It does, however, note that all paid plans include HD live broadcasting, no ad interruptions, and seven-day-a-week phone support.
