InterMedia Solutions Presenting i-Control

The German InterMedia Solutions (http://www.intermedia-solutions.de/) introduces the newest state of development of its award winning Web Authoring Tools i-Control at the RealNetworks Conference in Paris.

i-Control supports the import of over 60 source formats for picture data files, as well as formats for texts, graphics and video. Web masters or content suppliers can arrange the individual media contents per drag & drop on a timeline and in this way create multimedia presentations. i-Control automatically adapts time critical content to web suitable streaming media formats. Windows Media and RealAudio and RealVideo are supported. The software offers 40 templates for fast integration of presentations onto the Web site. Additionally also templates for individual design are offered in order to integrate e.g. corporate identity parameters.

The software has been primarily developed for traditional broadcasters, but easy useable for everybody who wants publish their own news, product information, or entertainment offerings as compact, multimedia presentations on their homepages - without visitors to the web site having to have sophisticated hardware or software. A series of extended tools allow live video recording and special integration in editorial and content management systems.

Based near Munich it doesn't surprise that InterMedia Solutions has three lead investors from the management of FAST Multimedia, a leader in providing server solutions for multimedia.
