StreamSpread Partners With E-Sport Video Giant ESL, Delivers Over 2 Million Viewers in First 3 Months

Prominent real-time video advertising platform StreamSpread today announced the early success of its major partnerships with e-sport video platform ESL.TV and publisher PCGames Network. The collaborations have vastly increased the live stream promotion network's market reach in just a matter of months.

The high profile collaboration with ESL, which is part of the world-leading ESL Gaming Network, has helped the startup experience significant traction in under 90 days, reaching over 2 million viewers with a combined total of 30 million minutes watched.

StreamSpread hopes that its partnership with PCGames Network will help the company continue this marked period of growth. The online gaming giant represents a group of the biggest and best PC games sites, including SteamProfile.com, pcgamesn.com, and MinecraftGallery.com. Delivering over 200m pageviews per month, its collaboration with StreamSpread has given the advertising platform and its clients, access to a sizeable new audience.

"By offering online users live streams as pieces of native content, StreamSpread has achieved an average viewing time of 15 minutes per user over the past 3 months," said StreamSpread CEO Anton Alexa. "This demonstrates that StreamSpread can help publishers maximise their digital advertising revenue and make their user experience a more compelling one in the process."

Growing at a rate of 43.5% year on year, digital video advertising represents a sizeable share of the online advertising market, set to be worth $220 billion by 2019. Yet innovation in this area has been slow to keep up, with the majority of video players still embedded into websites manually.

StreamSpread is the first self-service promotion network to distribute real-time, streaming video content across websites, without the need for video embedding. It is this distinguishing feature that StreamSpread hopes will continue to attract new publishers, bolstering the company's initial 3 month growth period further.

"Our mission is to revolutionize the video advertising market," adds Alexa, "and partnering with some of the biggest names in the online gaming industry is certainly helping us get one step closer to our goal."
