Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards: The Nominations Are Open
Today, we begin our journey to discover the best of the best in the online video world. Today, we open the nominations for the 2013 Readers' Choice Awards. There's no higher honor in the online video world, and it's all decided by you.
As always, we're revised the categories to reflect our rapidly changing industry. This year we're featuring 26 categories, as detailed below. Please let us know who deserves recognition in each area.
Nominations open today, July 29, and run until September 6. Once we've had a chance to sort through your recommendations we'll open award voting on September 13. Voting will conclude on October 25. On November 1, we'll announce the finalists.

Press the tuxedo, because the winners will be announced November 19 at a gala during Streaming Media West, which this year is being held at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, California. The ceremony will be sponsored by Wowza Media Systems and Teradek. Winners will be featured in an article in Streaming Media magazine and StreamingMedia.com, as well as our Streaming Media Xtra newsletter.
