The 2008 Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards Finalists

We’ve decided to mix things up a little bit this year; rather than notifying the winners right away as we did last year, we’re announcing the finalists in each category now, and we’ll reveal the winner at our awards reception at Streaming Media West at the Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose on September 24. (In all categories but one, that is; we'll announce the winner of the Regional [European] Content Delivery Provider category at Streaming Media Europe in October.)

What follows are the top three vote-getters in each category (except for one category, where a tie between two companies means we’ve got four finalists). The company who’s received the most votes will be revealed as the winner at our reception and in an article in the October/November issue of Streaming Media magazine, where we’ll also print a list of all the nominees who competed in this year’s awards.
