Vpype Enhances Facebook Video Tools

If you're putting videos online, you can hope the viewers come to you or you can work where the viewers already are.

With 500 million users and growing, Facebook has become an attractive destination for all types of products. In April, Kyte announced a tight integration with Facebook that allows publishers to upload branded interactive video.

Social video company Vpype of Milpitas, California, has already been offering video tools for Facebook, and now it's enhancing those tools. Its VpypeLive application on Facebook contains three parts—vBroadcast, vGreeting, and vComedy—which have been enhanced based on user feedback.

vBroadcast now supports the uploading of recorded video files, so you don't have to make a fresh video just for Facebook distribution. Vpype now offers an embedded player that works with both recorded and live streams. Also, Vpype's tools now include Twitter support.

To add Vpype Live to your company's Facebook profile, visit Vpype's Facebook page. Choose the vBroadcast tool to communicate directly with your customers with video.

"With Vpype social videos you can put a face and authentic voice to your storytelling on Facebook. Rather than just posting text and static pictures, you can now record your story as a live video, broadcast to a select audience as a private broadcast or to anyone on Facebook as a public broadcast, and let your friends, family or followers know your story in your own authentic voice," says Shoieb Yunus, Vpype's founder and CEO. "Your viewers can interact with the broadcasters and participate in the conversation via text chat."
