Reaching mass scale, with 42 million monthly unique visitors, AOL has decided to "double down" on original, premium video programming and announced plans for 15 new series, including one with Jennifer Lopez.

AOL will collaborate with Lopez and her company, Nuyorican Productions, and Believe Entertainment Group to launch a series called "Tiger Beat Entertainment." The teen and young adult series will be distributed by AOL and Cambio, its teen and young adult platform.

Monday, at an Advertising Week event in Manhattan, we spoke with Ran Harnevo, senior vice president of AOL Video, about the opportunity for AOL to produce and monetize premium content through sales and syndication.
