Adobe Announces Creative Cloud Video Updates, Will Preview at IBC
Getting the jump on IBC news, Adobe announced today that it will offer over 150 updates to Creative Cloud sometime in mid-October. According to Adobe, the update will deliver video tools to Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, Speedgrade CC, Prelude CC, Media Encoder CC, and Story CC Plus, as well as Anywhere for video.
Upcoming features include the ability to move multi-track timelines between Premiere Pro CC and SpeedGrade CC to view results at once; native support for UltraHD, 4K and greater resolutions; and a mask tracker in After Effects. Other additions include improved muticam editing and closed captioning in Premiere Pro CC; OpenCL support in Premiere Pro CC; improved color grading in SpeedGrade CC; and the ability to synchronize Creative Cloud settings between multiple computers.
Professionals using Adobe's collaboration platform, Anywhere, will gain the ability to edit in Premiere Pro CC while its recording a file, and to collaborate with designers using After Effects CC.
"We make an active effort to listen to our customers and develop solutions to address industry challenges, and both Creative Cloud and Adobe Anywhere give us a great platform to quickly deliver those enhancements," says Bill Roberts, director of video product management at Adobe.
Adobe will preview the updates later this week in hall 7, stand 7.G27 when the IBC exhibition begins in Amsterdam.
