Adobe Releases Latest Version of Premiere
Digital publishing company, Adobe Systems (www.adobe.com), announced the release of the latest version of its video editing software, Adobe Premiere 6.0.
According to the company, Adobe Premiere 6.0 aims to provide inclusive enhancements in the digital video editing process -- from capturing video, to editing, to final product export. The software provides built-in, cross-platform support for DV devices; an enhanced user interface, audio mixer, and tools for integration with other Adobe products, including Adobe After Effects and GoLive.
"With the latest version of Adobe Premiere, Adobe continues to address the critical issues of the professional development community with a tool that supports the new Web-enhanced video production workflow," said Wanda Meloni of M2 Research, in a press statement.
In a related announcement, Pinnacle Systems (www.pinnaclesys.com) said it has optimized its video editing systems, DV200, DV500, and DV1000/2000, for the new Adobe Premiere software.
