Akamai and Context Media Partner

Digital media management company Context Media (www.contextmedia.com) announced that it was teaming up with Akamai ( www.akamai.com) to allow customers to better manage their assets.

Under the agreement, Context Media will become a provider of Akamai's streaming media delivery services, called FreeFlow. The deal with Akamai will allow Context Media to become an Akamai preferred solution partner for rich media content syndication, and plans to integrate access to Akamai's services through its platform. The companies will also engage in a variety of co-marketing activities.

Context Media's platform allows content developers to manage, share and syndicate their digital media assets.
