Avaya Intros Multi-Device Business Video Distribution Offerings
Avaya, a company that specializes in business collaboration solutions, expands its video offerings today with the release of Team Engagement Solutions, a system that lets companies share videos with employees and customers on any device.
The Solutions enhance several existing Avaya products, including the Scoopia Videoconferencing Platform and the H175 HD Video Collaboration and E159/169 Media Stations. With more companies adopting BYOD (bring your own device) policies, Avaya lets them stream video to everything from employee-owned phones and tablets to full-room conferencing systems.
The Team Engagement Solutions portfolio includes the Scoopia XT7100 video conferencing system which now supports H.265 video for lower bandwidth use, and the lower-price Scoopia XT4300 conferencing system. Users can now stream video wirelessly from a laptop to both systems, and remote viewers can see 1080p video from conferences on their devices. The Scoopia platform now lets users to broadcast to up to 10,000 viewers, and save HD recordings into a YouTube-like sharing system.
“Providing all team members—including BYOD and mobile workers—with seamless voice, video, and sharing capabilities in whatever format they need facilitates the productivity and deeper engagement that can lead to higher profitability," says Gary E. Barnett, Avaya's senior vice president and general manager. "Avaya Team Engagement solutions simplify how work gets done by providing an environment where rich, high quality engagement experiences can occur."
