Beeb chooses Real IQ

Using Real’s platform, BBC Technology will provide its clients, content producers and rights holders with hosting, streaming and e-commerce services. Real System IQ will enable the BBC to deliver media to large live and on-demand audiences. BBC Technology currently broadcasts over 30 live programs and more than 100,000 on-demand audio and video clips. BBC Technology Ltd. began trading in March as a wholly BBC-owned commercial subsidiary in order to generate commercial revenue, while continuing to serve all the technological needs of the BBC's public service operations.
